1. Agreeing to these terms
By using Minutes 2 Match (the website, our Telegram bot, our text messages and our events), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. If we change these Terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you before the change takes effect. If you keep using Minutes 2 Match after that, you accept the new Terms.
2. Who can join
You must be 18 or over, and able to agree to these Terms. One account per person. We may ask you to confirm your age or identity at any time.
3. Your account
You agree to:
- Give accurate information about yourself, and keep it up to date
- Use recent photos that are of you
- Keep your phone and sign-in codes to yourself
- Take responsibility for what happens on your account
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it
4. How matching works
Matching is weekly and free. In each week you opt in, we look for one compatible person in your city and send you a match letter. We can't promise a match every week, or that any match will lead to a date or a relationship. Compatibility scores and notes are our best estimate, partly written with the help of AI, not a guarantee.
5. Meeting people safely
We encourage every match to meet, so please do it safely: meet somewhere public, tell a friend or family member where you'll be, arrange your own transport, and leave if you feel uncomfortable. We can't check everyone's background or control how people behave, on or off Minutes 2 Match, so we aren't responsible for the conduct of other members. If someone makes you feel unsafe, report them from their profile.
6. How to behave
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, abuse or pressure anyone
- Pretend to be someone else, or give false information
- Ask anyone for money, sell things, or send spam or scams
- Share another member's details, photos or match letter without their permission
- Use Minutes 2 Match if you're under 18, or for anything illegal
- Copy members' data, or use bots or scripts to access the service
- Interfere with or try to break the service
7. Reports and removals
Our team reviews every report. The person reported isn't told who made it. If someone breaks these Terms, we may warn them, stop matching them, or suspend or close their account, with or without notice depending on how serious it is.
8. Events and payments
- Payments are processed by Paystack. Prices are shown before you pay.
- Event tickets aren't refundable, unless we cancel the event.
- If an event is full, you can join the waitlist. We'll let you know if a place opens.
- Can't make it? Release your ticket from the event page so someone on the waitlist can come.
- Prices may change, but never for something you've already paid for.
- We may refuse a booking, for example from someone who has broken these Terms.
9. Your content
Your photos, bio and answers are yours. By adding them, you let us use them to run Minutes 2 Match: for example, to show them to your matches and to write your match letters. That permission ends when you delete them or your account, except for copies we must keep by law.
10. Our content
The Minutes 2 Match name, logo, illustrations, writing and software belong to us. Please don't copy, change or share them without our written permission.
11. Limits on our liability
We provide Minutes 2 Match "as is", without guarantees of any kind. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.
12. Leaving
You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms. Parts of these Terms that naturally continue, such as the limits on liability, still apply after an account is closed.
